The Jesus Story

The Jesus Story is the name of my other blog. It started out as a series of notes on my own facebook page, detailing my story of coming to faith. Eventually I had to start a blog because it was too much to be contained in facebook posts. I set it to private several years ago and have continued instead to write about faith here for the sake of simplicity. The original series of posts are being compiled into what I hope will become a book one day.

On facebook, The Jesus Story still has it’s little old page, although I admittedly haven’t done much with it of late. I have a separate vision to use that space as a way to share not just my own story, but many stories of people and Jesus and faith and doubt and belief and questions.

You can find thejesusstory on Instagram.

  1. Hey there. Didn’t want anyone to think I’m ignoring comments. I’m not accepting requests to view my other blog at this time, but only because I can’t keep up with everything. I *will* begin sharing the posts from there starting on Monday πŸ™‚ I may end up just importing them all onto this blog or something. Just waiting for this Halloween pandemonium to be done and over with and then I will figure out what to do with all of this.

  2. I’ve sent you a request for access. I maintain a blog and FB page dealing with a lot of things, but mainly childhood sexual assault. I would love to read your Jesus story if you’ll permit me. Thank you! Cheryl Thompson – Whispers From My Heart

  3. I sent a request to have access to your other blog b/c I’m interested in seeing what topics are being discussed, and what you have to say coming from the unique perspective of being a non-traditionalist Christian. I am also a Christian and find myself in many debates with typical Christians who seem to only view God, the world, and the Bible one way. So anytime I come across a Christian site with views that may be a bit unorthodox, I am interested in reading…

I have a blog of my own, but it’s a movie blog and I typically analyze films and generally have some kind of unique interpretation that varies from others’ general interpretations; here is a link to my “About” page just so you can have an idea of who I am and hopefully know that I’m not one of those internet nuts. πŸ™‚
